"Pair of Wings" is an atmospheric, dream-like mix of songs, suggesting personal transformation and awakening. It begins with acoustic guitar and vocals then is filled out with synthesizers, cello, hand drums and lush vocal harmonies.
One of Paul's favorite reviews was a single word, about his song "Where Have You Been?," from this album. The reviewer said simply: "Wow!"
